I began as a Program Director at the Grand River Area Family YMCA in 2003. I have served as Executive Director at the Carroll County Area YMCA since February 2015.

My passion is to see the members of our community enjoy recreational activities, improve their health, and participate in developmental programs together. Connecting people that have lived in the same area for years but never had the opportunity to interact or develop a friendship with their neighbor is a feeling that I can't describe. When I get up in the morning, I don't feel like I get up to go to work a job. I get up to go live my life leading a YMCA and make our community stronger.

I became the Program Director at the Y in March 2013.

My favorite parts of the YMCA are serving our communities and relationship building. Knowing that it is our duty to help provide what the community wants/needs is a very rewarding feeling once it is accomplished. I have also met numerous people in my time here that started off knowing my grandparents, parents or other family members of mine and have now become great friends of myself.
