Throughout the year, the Y hosts special events for adults, kids, families and the community. Y events are a great opportunity to have fun and meet new people in a safe and friendly environment.

Violin Lessons

When: June 17-July 22
Where: Carroll County Area YMCA
Ages: 6 and up
Fee: $119

What: Join Mary Caroline Campbell with beginner level violin lessons. During this class, we will learn the basics and gradually increase the level over the session.

Pickleball Clinic

When: Saturday, June 7th
Time: 9:00-11:00 am
Where: Carroll County Area YMCA        
Ages: 18 & Up
Cost: FREE to Members                              Program Participants: $10
Registration Deadline: Friday, June 6th
What: Join the founder of the Carroll County Pickleball Club in teaching the YMCA’s first  pickleball clinic. Justin Lindo will bring knowledge and excitement to this clinic for beginners to advanced. Players are encouraged to bring their own paddles.

Pickleball Night

When: Tuesday night’s beginning June 10th
Time: 5:00 pm-7:30 pm
Where: Carroll County Area YMCA
Ages: 18 & Up
Cost: FREE to Members Program Participants: $8/night
Registration Deadline: NONE. Show up & play.
What: The east court of the YMCA Gym will be set up for open pickleball play. Players are  encouraged to bring their own paddles.

Doubles Pickleball Tournament

When: Saturday, July 19th
Time: 8:00 am
Where: Carroll County Area YMCA
Ages: 18 & Up
Cost: $30/Team
Registration Deadline: July 15th
What: Double elimination tournament, games played to 11 points. Prizes given to winning team.
